I've seen this on a Savage a few years ago on a local bike expo. It seemed visually a lot like TP sensor which basically senses how much the throttle valve is opened and adjusts the ignition advance accordingly. Although I never knew any model/year variants had a 3D ignition mapping so the sensor seems a bit worthless??? Or does that model variant have it's 2D ignition advance mapped from throttle position, not from revs?? I'm a bit curious over this.
